I chose this Master’s program with hopes of expanding my knowledge of energy policies and energy issues to improve my chances of finding employment in the energy sector, as well as getting a better understanding of the background to the energy sector. This is exactly what this program entailed. The program dealt with different aspects of energy and energy policy in different regions. Despite a comprehensive program at the Faculty, there was room for students to explore personal interests of energy policy. As part of my studies, I was able to attend a summer school in Azerbaijan and do an internship in Lithuania. This made the Master’s program very fulfilling.

This broad, yet focused program provides different opportunities for employment. The skills taught at this program are applicable to sectors within and outside of the energy sector. Personally, the classes and opportunities provided at Masaryk helped me successfully apply for a PhD at the Ghent University, where I am currently working towards obtaining my PhD in energy policy. 

The EPS Master's helped me refine my previously acquired knowledge in Political Science and International Studies and turn it into practical skills applicable in energy industry.
